With a capacity of 1.5 liters, this bag is the perfect storage solution for items you don’t need to keep in sight while riding, but that are absolutely essential for your trip. These are typically heavier items, such as tools, spare inner tubes, CO2 cartridges, or a gas cartridge.

By mounting the bag under the down tube, you position heavy items at the lowest possible point. This significantly lowers the center of gravity and greatly improves the bike’s stability and handling. However, if necessary, you don’t have to worry about mounting the Down Tube Pack elsewhere.

Because the bag sits in a critical area near the chainrings, cranks, and front wheel, absolute stability is key. Apidura has developed an effective mounting system for this:
