With the addition of the Nitecore brand to our product lineup, we are also introducing its latest ultralight headlamp model, the NU25 MCT UL. This is a lightweight version of the Nitecore NU25 MCT model, which has won the hearts of countless ultralight enthusiasts. Despite its unbeatable weight, it delivers excellent performance! And that performance has been further enhanced in this new model.

Multi Color Temperature

The main innovation is the use of the aforementioned technology. This allows you to choose from three different shades of white light as needed—neutral, warm, and cool. Warm white LED (3000 candela), Neutral white LED (4500K), and Cool white LED (6500K). Warm white offers soft, bright, and natural-looking light suitable for a wide range of activities. The warm shade of white light has excellent penetration through fog and rain, while also minimizing glare and light reflections in fog. The cool white LED resembles the light of high noon and helps you stay alert and attentive during long hikes or runs. You also have the option to use red LEDs to preserve night vision.

This headlamp features two reflectors. The headlamp’s beam range is 132 meters. Additionally, the headlamp is equipped with 2 red LEDs. The red light can be used in both steady-on and warning-flash modes. Red light is good for soft illumination because it does not strain your eyes, and your vision quickly readjusts to the dark when you turn off the headlamp. Ideal for navigating a map.

Intuitive controls

The Nitecore NU25 MCT UL is controlled by two switches. Pressing both buttons simultaneously locks the headlamp’s buttons. This is a useful additional feature for traveling with the headlamp in a backpack. This prevents the headlamp from accidentally turning on and shining. Of course, it also features an integrated battery charge indicator.

Ultralight design

Instead of a standard flat strap, the headlamp features two elastic cords with reflective elements. It naturally includes a simple adjustment mechanism for a comfortable fit on your head. The headlamp can also be quickly and easily removed from the mount, allowing you to clean it or detach it for use as a flashlight. We also offer the Nitecore NU25 MCT variant with a classic strap adjustment.

Integrated battery

The headlamp body features an integrated rechargeable Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 700mAh and lasts for more than 500 charge cycles. The headlamp charges via a USB-C cable, which is included in the package. Weighing just 47 grams, this headlamp is among the lightest and most powerful headlamps in our lineup.

The package also includes a diffuser pouch (stuff sack), which illuminates the tent when the lit headlamp is placed inside.
