The Nalehko Alpha Hoody 60 women's sweatshirt is the embodiment of perfection. You'll be hard-pressed to find an active insulation on the market that's more breathable, lighter, and more packable than Polartec® Alpha.

Miraculous Properties

Originally, Polartec® Alpha was originally developed for the uniforms of U.S. special forces, who required a highly breathable yet very warm material that could withstand moisture during both static and dynamic activities. The technology used thus allows the material to offer excellent thermal adaptability in changing conditions and during various phases of physical activity. Most manufacturers hide Polartec® Alpha under a lining, but we’ve made the entire sweatshirt out of Polartec Alpha alone, because it’s incredibly comfortable against the skin and handles moisture wicking far better than a lining. All available data speaks for itself.

Polartec Alpha is twice as breathable, a third more packable, and dries three times faster than most standard fleeces on the market.

Second Skin

At NALEHKO, we fell in love with this miraculous material several years ago, which ultimately led us to create our own collection of jackets and hoodies made from it. Last year, we launched our hybrid jacket Nalehko Alpha Aspiring, which quickly gained a large following of enthusiastic customers. The next logical step is a sweatshirt that works perfectly as a base layer or mid-layer when paired with a T-shirt. Worn directly against the skin, it feels literally like a second skin. The material is so comfortable that once you put on the Alpha, you won’t want to take it off.

A key feature of the sweatshirt is its versatility across a wide range of temperatures; despite its lightweight design, it can be considered a year-round sweatshirt. Of course, in the winter, it’s primarily intended for intense, dynamic activities. In the summer months, it works great as a base layer or a mid-layer over a T-shirt, suitable even for more static activities. The Alpha itself doesn’t act as a wind barrier, but when combined with a suitable windbreaker, you get a great functional set for versatile use.

Minimalism First

As is our custom, we focused primarily on a simple, clean design. The Alpha Hoody 60 is thus a symbol of minimalism. Don’t look for any zippers, pockets, or drawstrings here. In the end, they aren’t needed at all. The hoodie simply slips on over your head, and you’ll immediately feel cozy. When it gets a little chilly, pull the simple hood over your head—it fits snugly thanks to the elastic. The sleeves and bottom hem feature elastic trim, and the cut is designed to restrict movement as little as possible. When choosing the right size, always refer to the attached size chart.
