These bottles, featuring the special FOAM media, combine the patented FOAM FILTER foam membrane with a durable silicone bottle and are compatible with all Sawyer filters (SP129 SQUEEZE, SP2129 MICRO SQUEEZE, SP128 MINI) with 0.1-micron hollow fiber, which ensures access to clean water when traveling anywhere in the world or in the event of emergencies or natural disasters.

Foam Filter – technology

The foam absorption technology used in these systems was developed in collaboration with Foamulations LLC to safely remove contaminants such as heavy metals, chemicals, pesticides, and viruses while improving taste and odor.& nbsp;Adsorption filtration is a process in which molecules adhere to the surface of an adsorbent foam membrane.& nbsp;This highly advanced filtration and purification process, when used with any Sawyer filter (not included) and PointONE™ filtration technology, ensures that all particles or pathogens larger than 0.1 microns are filtered out of your water, including bacteria, protozoa, cysts, impurities, and sediment. Compared to the Sawyer Foam Filter S1, the Sawyer Foam Filter S3 also filters out 99.99% of viruses and reduces the amount of heavy metals such as lead, copper, arsenic, and mercury.

The combination of the Sawyer Foam Filter S3 bottle + Sawyer Filter (SP129, SP2129, SP128) removes:

Important notice:

We know how tempting it can be to peek inside the Select Systems bottle, but this silicone bottle is difficult to reseal if the reduction cap (the LARGE black cap) comes loose – any leakage due to a loose thread is not grounds for a warranty claim. Therefore, we recommend filling and drying the bottle only through the smaller opening where the Sawyer filter is attached.  If you remove the reduction cap, you must reseal it before you can use the bottle again. If you do not do this, unfiltered water may leak out and contaminate the drinking water!
