They’re filled with CLIMASHIELD™ APEX synthetic insulation, which makes much more sense in this case than down, because it handles moisture and body oils much better, is less expensive to produce, and, above all, is very easy to maintain.

Even though they are filled with synthetic material, the booties are ridiculously light and pack down very well, so you won’t even notice them in your backpack.

Both the outer and inner materials are the proven 10D nylon with a high-quality DWR finish, which is also used in most cases on the brand’s popular quilts. The booties feature an easy drawstring to keep them snug on your feet without feeling constricting. Please note that these booties are not designed for walking outside your sleeping bag.
