Jetboil is one of the most efficient cooking systems on the market. At the heart of the system is the FluxRing® heat exchanger, which concentrates heat into the exchanger, reducing cooking time and increasing efficiency up to 80%. By comparison, standard gas stoves have an efficiency of 30–40%. As a result, you’ll use far less gas, so you won’t have to constantly buy new cartridges!

There is also a big difference in the pot compared to the Flash. It is shorter and wider, making it easier to eat from and suitable not only for heating water but also for preparing any kind of food. The pot has a capacity of 1 liter (dimensions 127 x 152 mm) and comes with a neoprene insulated cover that prevents burns and keeps food warm. The pot has a silicone lid with a spout and drainage holes for straining pasta, for example. There is also an opening for using a coffee filter, which can be purchased separately. On the other side, there is a cleverly designed recess with tabs where you can simply snap in a plastic tripod. Unlike other models, the container has foldable, rubberized handles. These do not get in the way, and handling the full container is no problem.

The container holds the burner, a 100g gas cartridge, a stabilizing tripod, and a metal base that you can attach to the burner if you want to cook in a different pot.  You get an efficient, compact system with everything you need! All you need to do is snap a cup onto the pot’s heat exchanger, which also serves as a container for food or drinks. The entire pot simply snaps onto the burner and locks into place, giving you a stable system that won’t tip over.

It also includes a pot support, allowing you to use any container other than the original Jetboil pot. Cooking in practice The manufacturer specifies a real-world output of 1.75 kW, which matches that of a classic home electric kettle. In practice, the stove is capable of bringing 0.5 liters of water to a boil in 2:15 min (when using an original Jetboil cartridge). Of course, the time will vary depending on conditions. Thanks to the excellent efficiency of the entire system, it is possible to boil up to 12 liters of water with a single 100-gram cartridge!
