The Gossamer Gear Bottle Rocket V2 bottle pocket works particularly well with Smart Water bottles, which are slightly narrower. However, it can easily accommodate standard half-liter PET bottles, cans, or bottles with a capacity of up to about 1 liter but with a narrower body. It also works well with most running soft flasks.
It has stretch panels on the sides, allowing it to expand quite a bit, but you won’t have to worry about the bottle just falling out of the pocket. To secure the bottle, the pocket also has an elastic loop over the neck.
You can attach it to most backpack shoulder straps using two vertical Velcro straps and, if necessary, two horizontal compression straps.
