You know how it is when you’re getting ready for a trek or mountain crossing and you know you’ll be passing through mountain passes where there might still be patches of frozen snow… just a few meters of hard snow you have to traverse… but you just don’t want to wear heavy crampons in the mountains for that…

Most people just take the risk without proper gear—"There probably won’t be any snow there, and I’ll be lugging this around for nothing." Sure, but what if there is? Is it better to turn back and not finish, or to take the risk? Neither. The best thing to do is to put on Snowline crampons in a few moments and safely cross the critical spot. What do you think? If you plan to traverse snowfields and icy terrain often, it’s better to get the sturdier, heavier Snowline PRO (356 g size L) with stronger chains and rubber.

If it’s really just for peace of mind and very occasional use, or for running (where the weight is very noticeable), then it’s better to choose the lighter Snowline Light (243 g size L). Both versions are CE and TUV certified and come with an extended 5-year warranty. However, it is important to remember that crampons are not a substitute for snowshoes or ice axes! Each piece of equipment is designed for different terrain. Crampons are NOT intended for climbing routes or steep icy terrain, but for safe walking and endurance running in rough terrain.
