The Rab Venant Shorts for men are primarily designed as climbing shorts. However, like other shorts in this category, they are very often used as a versatile, casual piece. That’s because they are exceptionally comfortable.

The Matrix™ stretch fabric (151 g/m²), combined with a crotch gusset and an anatomically precise cut, does not restrict movement in any way and is highly breathable and quick-drying. Every user will appreciate this, whether they’re tackling a rock overhang or on a Saturday family outing. Thanks to their understated look, they’re also perfect as everyday shorts for daily wear.

A water-repellent DWR finish protects against light rain without fluorocarbons. These primarily climbing shorts also offer very solid storage capacity—two large front cargo pockets and two large back pockets (the left one has a YKK zipper) are sufficient for all daily essentials. At the same time, however, they do not get in the way or cause pressure when sitting in a harness. For bouldering enthusiasts, there’s a small pocket with a loop for a chalk bag, so you can keep it with you at all times.
