Personally, I recommend placing a Tyvek or another footprint under the NetTent, because otherwise you’ll have to be extremely careful not to damage the delicate silnylon. It’ll add a few extra grams, but you’ll have peace of mind. Tyvek is cheap and durable, and you can replace it anytime. Silnylon is also quite slippery, so it’s a good idea to draw lines or dots on the floor from the inside using diluted silicone. That way, your sleeping pad won’t slide around as much.
