    The Vesuv universal windscreen and stove stand finally completes our line of lightweight Vesuv titanium windscreens. Until now, we’ve only offered these for Evernew and Toaks mess tins. But now, thanks to this windscreen and stand, you can use the entire system with other mess tins and mugs up to 117 mm in diameter.

    The set includes a foldable aluminum stand that serves as a pot holder and also supports the Vesuv Hotspot stove. A titanium windscreen is then placed around this stand, creating a highly functional and efficient cooking system.

    The windscreen features a simple and functional lock to keep it securely together. The entire system, including the stand, can then be easily folded and placed inside the mess kit.

    The windscreen is made of 0.1 mm thick titanium sheet metal. The entire production takes place in the Czech Republic, and we are involved in product development together with our friend Thor.

    One of our customers has already thoroughly tested this windscreen, and here are her observations:

    I used the stand and windscreen a lot over the summer and am very satisfied. For my shorter trips with small children, I consider this setup absolutely ideal. I used the stand and windscreen most often with the Vargo Bot 900 ml pot. There was about a 1 cm gap along the edge between the pot and the windscreen, but it didn’t bother me at all—I felt like it still cooked very quickly. The tripod with the windscreen is wonderfully stable. I liked that the stove is just the right distance from the ground on the tripod, so I don’t have to worry about burning the ground beneath it (or the mat). It took me a little while to learn how to assemble the stand, but once I got the hang of it, it was done in no time and was easy to do. The windscreen stays securely connected. When I tried using it with a pot that had a larger circumference than the windscreen, I simply left it unconnected, and even so, the windscreen protected about two-thirds of the pot’s circumference. I also tried cooking in various other pots, but I didn’t time it. I’m very satisfied with the windscreen, the tripod (and the Vesuv Hotspot 40 stove), and I now prefer cooking with this setup rather than on a gas stove.

    Pokud by stojánek někdo chtěl použít s oblíbeným vařičem Emo, tak potvrzuji, že to parádně funguje i s nim, mohli by možná přidat malý zářez kvůli lepší centraci i tohoto konkurenčního, ale vcelku rozšířeného vařiče- každopádně to lze udělat i svépomocí. Jen trochu pokulhává výrobní kvalita- hliníkové díly měly v mém případě příšerné otřepy, které jsem musel ošmirglovat aby netrhaly pytlík, kam je dávám je spolu s hrnkem. Škoda taky, že i vlastní stojánek není titanový.

    Dobrý den, zkontrolujeme zásoby ostatních Vesuvů a případně doobjednáme. Když budou skladem, tak by ještě do Vánoc mohly být.
