With the addition of the Nitecore brand to our product lineup, we have expanded our selection to include the improved and, above all, more powerful V2 version. Nitecore headlamps have been on many hikers’ gear lists for several years, and their popularity continues to grow.

4 LEDs

The headlamp is equipped with 2 main LEDs that can be combined. One is used for a long-range spot mode called Spotlight (58-meter beam with 200 lumens). This light mode is suitable for illuminating a distant target. The second reflector Floodlight is used to illuminate the immediate surroundings using a wide beam of light without a distinct focal point. The beam angle in this mode is a wide 100°. These two modes Spotlight and Floodlight can be combined to achieve the optimal light cone for a wide variety of needs and activities. The headlamp’s beam distance in this combination is 64 meters. Furthermore, the headlamp is equipped with 2 red LEDs. The red light can be used in either steady-on mode or warning flash mode. Red light is good for soft illumination because it does not strain the eyes, and human vision quickly readjusts to the dark when the headlamp is turned off.

Intuitive Controls

The Nitecore NU25 V2 is controlled by two switches. Pressing both buttons simultaneously locks the headlamp’s buttons. This is a useful feature when traveling with the headlamp in a backpack. This prevents the headlamp from accidentally turning on and shining. Another new feature of the new NU 25 V2 is the integrated battery charge indicator.

Ultra-lightweight design

The headlamp features an interesting strap design that combines a classic, flat strap with a silicone-coated inner side and two elastic cords with reflective elements. Of course, it features a simple adjustment mechanism for a comfortable fit on the head. The headlamp can also be quickly and easily removed from the mount, allowing you to clean it or detach it for use as a flashlight.

Integrated battery

The headlamp body features an integrated rechargeable Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 650mAh that lasts for more than 500 charge cycles. The headlamp charges via a USB-C cable, which is included in the package. Weighing just 56 grams, this headlamp is among the lightest and most powerful headlamps in our lineup.
