Despite its light weight, the Camp Corsa ice axe is by no means lacking in features and offers nearly everything a high-quality ice axe should have. The shaft and head are made of 7075-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum and meet all CE and UIAA requirements. The end of the shaft features a plastic plug that prevents snow from entering. For your safety, it also includes a wear indicator that warns you when the pick is too dull. This ice axe is the ideal choice for high-altitude hiking, traversing glaciers, and navigating exposed snowfields. It is definitely a must-have for long treks such as the PCT or the CDT, where you definitely won’t be able to avoid exposed sections. Not suitable for ice climbing or mixed climbing!
