The Rab Firewall Light men's waterproof jacket is a lightweight version of the Rab Firewall Mountain, a rugged mountaineering jacket.

Pertex® Shield

This new model is made from the same three-layer Pertex® Shield fabric but with a lower denier count. This results in a noticeable weight reduction compared to its heavier counterpart. But don’t be fooled. It’s still a durable mountaineering jacket that’s perfect not only for hiking in the mounta
ins but also for rock climbing.

It features a proven membrane with a 20,000 mm water column and 20,000 g/m²/24h breathability. The inner layer is soft and very pleasant to the touch.

Rab Firewall Light

It's a hit on the head for us. Last year's model was already very popular with the team, but we still criticized it for its higher weight. That's why the Rab Firewall Light won us over immediately. Same parameters, lighter and still durable enough to be used with a heavier backpack.

The hood is adjustable on both sides and has a one-handed adjustment. Both hand pockets are equipped with a YKK zipper. They are tactically placed so that they can be easily reached even with a backpack/seat harness on. The bottom hem is also adjustable on both sides and the central YKK® AquaGuard® zipper is full length and ends with a chin guard.

The jacket is regular cut and follows the "Rab" trend of recent years. The perfect ergonomic cut is complemented by the articulated pre-twisting of the sleeves. This is hard to describe, but you will understand it as soon as you try on a newer piece from Rab. The jacket offers the maximum possible range of motion without the slightest restriction.

A jacket for every event

The Rab Firewall Light is a damn good jacket, and not only for ultralight travel. With a nice weight of 320 grams in size M, you can also use it as a mountaineering jacket. It also plays its role wonderfully as a universal bookmark for outdoor events of all kinds and, of course, nothing prevents normal everyday wear.
