Take less, do more!Gossamer Gear

We offer ultralight backpacks from trusted global brands that we have personally tested the longest world trails. We constantly strive to keep up with trends in ultralight gear and expand our product range. That’s why you’ll also find the brand Gossamer Gear.
An iconic American brand from Texas that pushes the boundaries of simplicity and functionality has been creating some of the best and most comfortable backpacks in the world for many years. We ourselves have walked tens of thousands of kilometers with them all over the world.

The brand’s history is inseparably linked to Glen Van Peski, who founded his own brand, GVP Gear, in California back in 1998. Glen is an inventive guy by profession (civil engineer), and his experiments with his own ultralight gear—especially the first backpacks from the "G" series—led to the current design of the G4-20 backpack as we know it today. But it was a long journey to get there, and along the way, Glen ultimately decided (in 2005) to leave the GVP brand—to devote more time to his family, expand production, and, together with a larger team, launch Gossamer Gear into its current form.
