The Charter Escape Hat is the slightly smaller sibling of the Charter Hat. It looks like a “classic” hat that will reliably protect you from the sun’s heat. However, it features several details that set it apart from ordinary hats.

The hat is made of lightweight nylon with a water-resistant finish and, of course, UV protection rated at UPF 50+. Mesh is strategically placed around the crown for maximum breathability. The inner rim is lined with a fabric that effectively wicks away sweat. Inside the hat, you’ll find a minimalist strap with a buckle that allows you to easily adjust the hat’s circumference to fit your needs perfectly. Inside the crown, you’ll even find a hidden pocket where you can stash anything you can think of.

Of course, it comes with a neck strap that can be easily tightened. On the outer rim of the hat, you’ll also find handy compartments for securing your sunglasses when you don’t want to wear them. For easy transport, the hat can be folded flat.

The hat comes in two sizes. Size M is for head circumferences from 56 to 58 cm. Size L is for head circumferences from 58 to 61 cm.
