The Mountainsmith Dog Pack K9 dog carrier, featuring a padded chest panel, offers plenty of adjustment options, and the waist strap ensures the carrier stays secure. All panels are padded and made of breathable material, ensuring comfort and breathability. In the center of the top panel is a sturdy “handle” that’s immediately at hand when you need to keep your dog under control or help him over obstacles. A large metal eyelet is used to attach a leash.

The 2019 Mountainsmith Dog Pack K9 model offers even greater water resistance. A brief shower or shallow river crossings will be no problem.

The bags are, as is customary with Mountainsmith  customary, very well-made and constructed from durable materials, so you don’t have to worry about their longevity. They are large enough to hold water, a collapsible bowl, toys, kibble… and come in three sizes  S/M/L with capacities of 7/12/16 liters and chest circumferences ranging from 45 to 110 cm. Weights are 450 g/550 g/630 g.

Size L is suitable for dogs over 36 kg. Size M is for dogs weighing 18–40 kg. Size S is for 9–20 kg.

To put the bags on, loosen and unfasten all the buckles, slip the bags over the dog’s head, and position them loosely so that the front edge rests roughly above the shoulder joint.  Then tighten the front shoulder straps—gently, so that you can slide two fingers underneath them. These shoulder straps create a sort of second collar, which should sit about 5 cm below the normal collar. Then thread both chest straps under the dog’s legs and attach them to the bottom of the bags.  Finally, just fine-tune the tightness of all the straps Mountainsmith Dog Pack K9 and you’re ready to go.
