We have been testing Polartec® Alpha in different forms and weights on our own expeditions and long-distance treks for years. Our experience has confirmed that it is one of the most versatile materials for active insulation. It provides warmth when you need it, while allowing excess heat and moisture to escape during demanding physical activity.

The Nalehko Alpha Vest 60 takes this proven concept one step further. Originally developed for the US special forces, Polartec® Alpha was designed to provide warmth while maintaining excellent breathability during both static and dynamic activities. Its open structure allows air to circulate freely, helping regulate body temperature as the intensity of your activity changes.

Unlike conventional fleece, Polartec® Alpha Direct can be worn directly against the skin or over a lightweight base layer. It efficiently manages moisture, dries quickly and packs down exceptionally small.
