You asked for it, and here it is—Nalehko Alpha Pull-On 60—the long-awaited hoodless Polartec® Alpha sweatshirt is finally here! You’ll be hard-pressed to find active insulation on the market that’s more breathable, lighter, and more packable than Polartec® Alpha.

We have an excellent base material, so we set out to create a product that would maximize its potential – we believe we’ve succeeded, and the Nalehko Alpha Pull-On 60 is a product that excels in every way – whether in terms of performance, usability, or price.

Miraculous Properties

Originally, Polartec® Alpha was originally developed for the uniforms of American special forces, who required a highly breathable yet very warm material that resists moisture during both static and dynamic activities. The technology used thus allows the material to offer excellent thermal adaptability in changing conditions and during various phases of physical activity. Most manufacturers hide Polartec® Alpha under a lining, but we’ve made the entire sweatshirt out of Polartec Alpha (Direct version) because it’s incredibly comfortable against the skin and handles moisture wicking far better than a lining. All available data speaks clearly. Polartec Alpha is twice as breathable, one-third more packable, and dries three times faster than most standard fleeces on the market.

Second Skin

At Nalehko, we fell in love with this miraculous material several years ago, which ultimately led us to create our own collection of jackets and sweatshirts made from it. Many years ago, we launched our hybrid jacket Nalehko Alpha Aspiring, which quickly gained a large number of enthusiastic customers. The next logical step is a hoodie, which works great as a base layer or mid-layer when paired with a T-shirt. Worn directly against the skin, it feels literally like a second skin. The material is so comfortable that once you put on the Alpha, you won’t want to take it off. A key feature of the sweatshirt is its versatility across a wide range of temperatures; despite its lightweight design, it can be considered a year-round sweatshirt. Of course, in the winter, it’s primarily intended for intense, more dynamic activities. In the summer months, it works great as a base layer or a mid-layer over a T-shirt, suitable even for more static activities. The Alpha itself does not act as a wind barrier, but when combined with a suitable windbreaker, you get a great functional set for versatile use.

Minimalism First

As is our custom, we focused primarily on a simple, clean design. The Alpha Pull-On 60, just like our Alpha Hoody 60, is a symbol of minimalism. Just a short zipper up to the stand-up collar—that’s all you’ll find. As a result, you don’t need anything else. The hoodie is easy to put on, and with the stand-up collar around your neck, you’ll immediately feel cozy and comfortable. The sleeves and bottom hem feature elastic cuffs, and the cut is designed to restrict movement as little as possible. When choosing the right size, always refer to the included size chart.

We offer a hooded version Nalehko Alpha Hoody 60 and  also a new, heavier-weight hoodie Nalehko Alpha Hoody 120.

Please note that this is an extremely lightweight material and must be handled with care—then it will serve you for a long time. Before the first wash, the Alpha may shed loose fibers, which has no effect on its function and will stop after washing.
