The Men's Nalehko Apiring Vest is a lightweight functional layer that combines the best of different worlds—merino fleece, windproof Pertex, and top-of-the-line active insulation Polartec Alpha. We designed it to provide protection where needed without restricting movement. It’s perfect for dynamic activities in the mountains, on a bike, or even for an autumn morning run through the city.

Smart combination of materials

The back of the vest is made of breathable textured merino fleece (26% merino wool, 65% polyester, 9% polyamide), which wicks away moisture, dries quickly, and stays odor-free even after several days of wear. The front and shoulders are protected by lightweight Pertex Quantum Air, which keeps you warm even in headwinds. And underneath? Polartec Alpha – legendary active insulation that breathes exceptionally well, dries quickly, and provides just the right amount of warmth. The weight of Alpha is 60 g/m², just like in the very popular sweatshirts Alpha Hoody 60 and the Nalehko Aspiring jacket.

We’ve equipped the vest with two zippered pockets that can hold a phone, gloves, or a granola bar. The main zipper ends with a high stand-up collar that protects your neck from the wind. Fleece on the back adds elasticity to the bottom hem, so the bottom edge fits snugly against your body.

When is it suitable?

Whenever you need a little extra warmth for your torso, but a jacket would be unnecessarily hot. It’s suitable for a quick mountain hike, running, ski touring, as a insulating layer under a rain jacket, or a backup for cooler evenings.
