The Patizon G 600 down sleeping bag is a new addition to the Patizon G series and fills the gap between the G 400 and G 800. Is the 400-gram model a bit too light for you and the 800-gram one too heavy? This one is right in the middle.

The still relatively young Czech brand Patizon has already made a strong name for itself in the world of down products in recent years. We at Nalehko have also been following the development of their sleeping bags from the very beginning. We know the guys personally, and once they brought their line of sleeping bags to absolute perfection, we knew that such sleeping bags shouldn’t be missing from our selection.

G series

Crucially, Patizon uses only the best materials for its sleeping bags. The G series line of sleeping bags is specifically designed for low weight and maximum performance, and these are exactly the items that belong in our product range.

Premium Materials

Both the outer and inner materials are made of ultra-lightweight and perfectly breathable fabric Toray™ Airtastic™ (33 g/m², 100% recycled nylon) with a water-repellent DWR finish.

Semi-automatic SHZ zip with two sliders ending at the ankles has a 3 mm pitch instead of the standard 6 mm, to reduce heat loss and lower the overall weight. The semi-automatic zipper on the sleeping bag is a Patizon specialty, and in our experience, it works great.

Top-quality goose down

The Patizon G 600 is filled with premium European hypoallergenic goose down 90/10 with a fill power of 850 cuin and an RDS.

Specific down weights for each size and corresponding sleeping bag weight: 

• S - 557 g total weight 870 g.
• M - 600 g total weight 930 g.
• L - 640 gtotal weight 990 g.

The insulation is distributed throughout the sleeping bag in a ratio of 50:50 (upper section : lower section).

Thoughtful design

As is customary with Patizon, the sleeping bag’s cut is anatomical and precisely follows the shape of the human body. It retains the traditional "mummy" shape. SThe lower section is tapered precisely so that you can still reach your feet when the sleeping bag is zipped up (e.g., to take off your socks). The footbox is the same as we are used to in other Patizon models—sufficiently spacious and warm. 

The left semi-automatic SHZ zipper is completely covered by an insulating flap to retain heat. The design of the cover flaps that prevent heat loss is also well-executed. The “shell”-shaped collar adjustment around the shoulders is unique without the need for fasteners such as snaps or Velcro; simply zip it up and pull the drawstring.

The ergonomically shaped hood allows for head movement whether lying down or sitting. The collar around it is filled with top-quality synthetic insulation CLO Vivo Endurance, which reduces heat loss, better resists moisture from exhaled breath, and prevents pressure marks from the drawstring.

The sleeping bag’s chambers feature a “Z” construction, which ensures sufficient insulation thickness in every position. The 20 x 12 cm inner pocket is just the right size for the gear you need to keep close at hand while sleeping.

The G 250 features loops for hanging the sleeping bag (e.g., for drying or storage), and for your trip, you’ll receive both an ultralight compression bag (which reduces the volume of the sleeping bag by up to 13x) and a storage bag made of brushed polyester.

It is a traditionally well-made, warm three-season sleeping bag. Weighing 930 g (size M) and with a comfort temperature of -6 °C (ISO EN 23537), it offers a luxurious warmth-to-weight ratio. Three-season reliability that, when paired with a high-quality winter sleeping pad, or with sleeping bag liner, can handle even lighter winter overnight stays.
