The Peak Design Slide Lite strap is the "sweet spot" among Peak Design's range of amazing, versatile straps for cameras or any other gear. The Slide Lite can be used as a neck strap, over-the-head strap, or shoulder strap. One side of the strap is smooth and glides over clothing (ideal for over-the-head use in sling mode), while the other side is grippy to prevent slipping (ideal for shoulder use). The strap attaches quickly and easily to your camera using the excellent Anchor Link/as (included in the package). You can attach these anchors to any other equipment (bag, tripod, binoculars, etc.), so you can use the strap with basically anything you want.

The strap length is adjusted using two buckles that are simply ingenious. Just flip the latch open with one hand, pull, and snap it back into place. Another great feature is the option to attach the anchor mount plate (included in the package) to your camera’s tripod mount and secure the anchor to it. This allows you to attach the strap to the bottom of the camera, which is most suitable for cameras with longer lenses. When worn over your head, the camera won’t bounce around or get in the way.

The strap can be adjusted from 99 to 145 cm. It is 32 mm wide, making it suitable for the vast majority of mirrorless cameras or smaller DSLRs. For smaller mirrorless cameras or compact cameras, the Peak Design Leash will be perfectly sufficient.

Personal Experience

I’ve been using Peak Design products for many years. My favorite is the Capture mount, which is a must-have for anyone serious about photography while traveling. I also use the excellent Leash strap almost all the time, and recently I’ve also fallen in love with the Cuff. I wear it on my wrist like a bracelet, and whenever I take my camera out of my bag, I quickly snap it onto the Cuff and know that nothing will happen to my camera.
