We spent a long time searching for the ideal power bank to add to our lineup, one that would be particularly well-suited for the long events we typically organize. We narrowed our final selection down to two brands, and Nitecore came out on top. The most important factor for us is, above all, low weight. Thanks to reinforced polymer mixed with carbon fibers, we managed to get the weight down to an incredible 150 grams! Nitecore power banks are up to 40% lighter than most competing brands on the market. Despite its low weight, it features IPX5 protection, so it can handle water jets or snow. Another strong point in favor of Nitecore power banks is their compact size. This model measures a sleek 118 x 69 x 21.5 mm.

Nitecore NB10000 Gen3

The new, 3rd generation of the popular Nitecore NB10000 power bank is 10% lighter and 13% smaller than its previous version. The USB-A port has been replaced by the faster USB-C (however, a USB-A adapter is included in the package, which is very practical for users who still require USB-A). The GEN3 thus offers two fast USB-C ports. The corners of the body are now reinforced with "pads" that create a cushioned surface, thereby absorbing shocks and impacts, which are countless on the trail. As part of the redesign, the power bank’s dimensions have been slightly modified. 

High Performance

Nitecore also stands out in terms of performance. The output current via the USB-C interface reaches up to 3A, allowing you to charge your devices very quickly. It also allows you to charge two devices simultaneously. It supports pass-through charging, so you can charge the power bank and your device at the same time. If you’re charging a lower-power device (e.g., a watch), the power bank automatically switches to low-current mode.

With a capacity of 10,000 mAh, you can charge your mobile phone up to four times. Of course, you have to account for some charging losses, so it will also depend quite a bit on your phone’s capacity. The Nitecore NB10000 is safe and approved for air travel, as it complies with UN38.3 standards for devices with a rated capacity of less than 100Wh. The power bank also features a charge indicator, allowing you to easily check the current capacity at any time.
