A very simple shelter for solo travelers. Just like the popular Appy Trail Mark III², it is made of polyester with a PU coating. This has the advantage of not sagging as much. Another advantage is that all the seams are factory-taped.

The shelter measures 2.95 x 2.18 m and features loops in the corners and center for staking or attaching guy lines. It can be easily strung between trees and used as a simple canopy over a hammock. Thanks to the eyelets in the center, you can also create a short "entry canopy" on one side, which provides better protection from rain and wind. When used as a tarp, you only need one trekking pole to set it up. You’ll then have approximately 1.95 m² (2.13 x 0.91 m) of covered area, which is sufficient for a single person to sleep under.

The height at the peak of the tent is approximately 1.52 m. If desired, you can tie approximately 20 cm long cords to the grommets and set up the tarp higher off the ground by simply extending the trekking pole further. This will significantly increase the covered area. There are several options, and it’s entirely up to you how you use this shelter. The package includes 4 aluminum stakes (44g) and guy lines (68g). The tarp alone weighs exactly 300 grams!
