The all-new generation of Apidura Expedition bags represents a complete evolution in both design and mounting system. These bags are 100% waterproof, extremely durable, and feature a clean, functional design without unnecessary hardware.

What's new in the new generation?

• BarSpace™ System: A brand-new, lightweight, clamp-free interface that completely replaces older foam pads and positions the bag in front of the handlebars.
• Integrated 3-prong mounts: BarSpace™ modules feature a built-in mounting system for directly attaching a GPS navigator and a headlight.
• New SoftVent valve: A seamless, flexible air valve with no hard plastic parts (hardware-free) facilitates compression and adapts perfectly to the load.
• Redesigned fastening system: A combination of Preload straps, Stability Cord, and the internal BarSpace Plate ensures absolute stability without twisting.

Waterproof compartment optimized for drop bars

The Apidura Expedition Handlebar Pack is a handlebar bag designed to carry lightweight, easily compressible gear—such as a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, or clothing. The double-sided roll-top closure ensures quick access from both sides, and the G-hook buckles let you precisely adjust the volume. The design is also shaped to maximize hand space even when riding on gravel or road, whether you’re holding the shift levers or the lower bend of the handlebars.

100% waterproof protection is provided by the three-layer laminated Expedition Grade Fabric developed exclusively by Apidura (completely free of PFA and PFC). The seams are radio-frequency welded (RF welded), so the bag won’t let a single drop in. Compression is ensured by the new flexible SoftVent valve, which reliably expels excess air when packing.

The Ingenious BarSpace™ Installation

Forget about traditional straps wrapped directly around the handlebars. The new mounting system is more stable, adjustable, and won’t scratch your head tube. At its core are two sturdy BarSpace™ modules that create a precise gap between the bag and the handlebars. This frees up space for cables, hoses, and your fingers, while also featuring integrated mounts for your electronics. The inner BarSpace Plate also keeps the bag perfectly shaped, even when it’s not completely full.

Perfect stability, even on rough terrain, is ensured by the Stability Cord, which maintains tension around the handlebars and stem, while the lower Preload Strap tightens around the fork crown to create counter-tension. This even allows you to adjust the bag’s angle (Angle Control) as needed. Using the integrated Anchor Rails, you can also easily expand the capacity with the Expedition Front Accessory Pack.
