The set includes a 1.2-liter aluminum pot (186 g), an 800-ml bowl (52 g), and a 365-ml mug (76 g). Everything fits inside the pot, of course.

The mess kit is made of extra-hard, durable anodized aluminum, which is also very lightweight.

Sea to Summit has particularly succeeded with a unique handle called the Pivot-Lock. It folds out to the side and is easily secured with a latch, allowing you to carry the full pot without any trouble. The handle has a silicone coating, so there’s no risk of burns. When you fold the handle back down, it cleverly holds the lid in place on the pot.

The lightweight aluminum lid is also very well designed. It features holes for draining pasta, for example. It has a silicone grip, so you won’t get burned while cooking. A great feature is the hook on the other side of the lid, which allows you to hang the lid over the edge of the pot.

The entire pot has a stated capacity of 1.2 liters, but that’s to the brim. It will therefore be usable for a volume of about 1 liter. Inside the pot, there are measurement marks for accurately measuring the amount of water. The shape of the pot’s bottom is interesting; it has a wide radius, making it easier to eat with a spoon. It will also be much easier to wash, as food residue won’t get stuck on the edge of the bottom.

The bowl is made of food-safe, BPA-free polypropylene. The 365 ml cup is made of the same material and features a silicone lid with a drinking spout, as well as a neoprene insulated sleeve. Both the bowl and the cup are dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe.
