Size chart: Granite Gear

We all have unique body types, so two people of the same height may be better suited to two different sizes. That's why it's important to measure the key dimensions and choose according to your own measurements.

Torso length – important for backpack size

The upper point of the torso length is the C7 vertebra. You can find it by bending your head forward and feeling for the most prominent bone bump on the back of your neck.
The lower point is located on the spine between the upper edges of the hip bones. You can find it by feeling the upper edges of the hip bones with your index fingers, placing your palms on your hips, and pointing your thumbs toward your spine. The point where your palms meet is the lower point of your torso length. Simply measure the distance on the spine between these points; it is best to ask someone to measure the distance for you. You can use a soft tape measure or a piece of string, which you can then measure.
