Why Nalehko?
The Nalehko project was born in 2011 as a result of preparations for the legendary Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). Thousands of kilometers and hundreds of nights outdoors taught us the importance of lightness—not only physical, but also mental.
What does it mean "Nalehko"?
The word "Nalehko" means in Czech:

History
In 2016, Nalehko took a step further when we opened our first brick-and-mortar store in Liberec, followed by another store in Prague in 2017. Shortly after, other team members who are enthusiasts of mountains, cycling, running, kayaking or winter expeditions joined us. Together, we all share a passion for long-distance treks, extreme races, bikepacking, mountain expeditions, and other outdoor activities in the nature where equipment plays a key role.

Nalehko
Nalehko is our own brand of ultralight equipment for active outdoor activities. Whether it's long trails, shorter hikes, running, or cycling, hundreds of kilometers are behind every product. We test our products in demanding conditions on the world's longest trails! We design everything ourselves, use the best materials available, and every piece is made in Czech and Slovakian workshops.

Philosophy
From the very beginning, we have stuck to a simple philosophy: "Less stuff on your back = less pain and more joy." We want to show you that with lightweight equipment, you can enjoy nature to the fullest, whether you are heading out on a trek lasting several months or a weekend in the Czech mountains. We carefully test most of the equipment we offer. Based on our experience, Nalehko has become a pioneer of ultralight trekking in the Czech Republic.
