Self-heating, or flameless chemical heater, is a special pouch that heats up food without using a stove or cookware, in just 20–25 minutes (for the lightweight version of the meal). In the meantime, you can set up your tent and get ready for bed; simply spend your time on more important activities than cooking. Self-heating works on the principle of an exothermic reaction between calcium oxide and water.
This set is complete and includes five 60g self-heating capsules (up to 10 servings).
