Self-heating, or flameless chemical heater, is a special pouch that heats up food in 20–25 minutes without using a stove or cookware (lightweight version of the meal). In the meantime, you can set up your tent and get ready for bed; simply spend your time on more important activities than cooking. Self-heating works on the principle of an exothermic reaction between calcium oxide and water.
This set is complete, including 3 × 30g and 2 × 60g self-heating capsules (up to 7 servings).
The capsules can also be purchased separately.
