The Sea To Summit Ultralight Insulated sleeping pad features 174 air cells, meaning it requires minimal air to inflate (8–10 breaths), yet remains comfortable even for side sleepers. This women’s version measures 168 x 55 x 5 cm, which will be sufficient for most women.

Simple valve

It features an ingeniously simple and practical valve with a flap to prevent air from escaping between breaths, and most importantly, it can be deflated almost instantly by opening the second stage of the valve! This makes it quick and easy to inflate and pack. Inflating is even more convenient with the new version, as the package now includes an inflation bag, which easily prevents moist air from entering the mat. The inflation bag can also be used as a storage bag for the packed mat. Simple and smart. Each mat now comes with anti-slip patches that keep your pillow perfectly in place.

Insulation

Thermal insulation is provided by the Exkin Platinum® layer, which reflects radiated heat back to the body. To prevent heat loss between your warm body and the cold ground, the chambers are filled with THERMOLITE® synthetic insulation. This women’s version of the sleeping pad achieves a thermal resistance of R = 3.5, making it a full-fledged three-season sleeping pad. In recent years, this sleeping pad has consistently ranked among the most popular models on the market—that speaks volumes!

Outdoor testing confirmed the manufacturer’s claim that the pad is truly comfortable; thanks to the included pump, it inflates very easily and deflates and packs away even more easily. The valve is perfect and doesn’t get in the way at all. The new model features a significantly changed structure and surface texture, so it no longer feels as “rubbery.” This sleeping pad is definitely one of the quieter ones.

We recommend placing Tyvek under every inflatable mat, as it significantly reduces the risk of punctures.
