Rab Electron Pro 2.0
One of the best-selling down jackets from Rab - Masters of Insulation, true specialists in down products, in the new 2.0 version. Like previous models, it stands out for its excellent balance of warmth, durability, packability, and weight.
Climbers will appreciate the two-way central YKK zip and the fully adjustable hood designed to fit over a helmet. The sleeves feature elasticated cuffs, and the bottom hem of the jacket is adjustable on both sides. The jacket has two large YKK zippered pockets that are easily accessible even when wearing a climbing harness or a backpack hip belt.
The Rab Electron Pro 2.0 combines quilted midi and micro-baffle constructions mapped for maximum thermal comfort and efficiency.
Materials:
The Rab Electron Pro 2.0 is filled with premium European goose down with a fill power of 800FP (approx. 170 grams in size S) and a hydrophobic treatment from Grangers. The outer fabric is the proven recycled 20D Pertex® Quantum Pro with a fluorocarbon-free DWR water-repellent finish. The material can withstand light mist or a brief shower, but of course, this is not a waterproof jacket. The lining is now made of 20D Pertex® Quantum.
Like any down jacket, you can use this model wherever you need warmth. The Rab Electron Pro 2.0 easily provides enough warmth even in severe cold, and it does so with an ideal balance of weight, volume, and durability. Mountaineering, ski mountaineering, high-altitude hiking, backcountry expeditions, and of course classic treks—this jacket is the perfect companion for all of them.
