The brand-new Rab Glaceon Pro down jacket from "Master of Insulation" is a proven combination of the time-tested Pertex® Quantum Pro fabric and top-quality recycled down with a fill power of 700FP. The Rab Glaceon Pro is primarily a low-temperature mountain jacket, so Rab didn’t skimp on it and packed it with a full 250 grams (size S). Without exaggeration, we can call it a true “frost-biter,” which will be especially appreciated by women who are more sensitive to the cold.

The main outer fabric is 20D Pertex® Quantum Pro 40 g/m², and the lining is made of 20D Pertex® Quantum 38 g/m², both recycled and featuring a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish. The down is treated with a hydrophobic finish from Nikwax as well as fluorocarbon-free. The jacket can withstand light exposure to water and moisture in general, but of course it is not a waterproof jacket. The jacket’s construction includes everything you’d expect from a high-quality down jacket. A fully adjustable hood compatible with a helmet and a reinforced brim.

Two-way central YKK® VISLON® zipper with insulated flap and chin guard. You can warm your hands in two large pockets and stash your valuables in a hidden chest pocket. The elastic, adjustable sleeve cuffs fit perfectly for use with gloves. In short, this jacket is designed for mountain use, whether for winter hiking or mountaineering. It’s perfect for freezing at belay stations and securing your climbing partner.
