What caught our attention about the Warmpeace Tucson shirt was, above all, the Smile Skin Stretch fabric used in it. We’ve carried pants made from this fabric in the past, and it’s proven to be excellent for our needs.

At the same time, we’d been missing a solid hiking shirt in our lineup for quite some time, so when this piece came into our hands, it was a no-brainer.

It has everything we could want in a hiking shirt. An extended back panel and a mesh ventilation panel at the top of the back. A long slit on the sleeves for easy rolling or folding, with the option to secure the sleeve with a snap-button loop.

It also features a zippered chest pocket for small items. The shirt fastens with snaps, which we simply find more comfortable. And last but not least, it has an acceptable weight—210 g in size M. This brings us to the most important feature for us: the aforementioned Smile Skin Stretch material.

And we can confirm that. The shirt really is incredibly soft to the touch and highly breathable. Combined with its low-maintenance design, quick-drying properties, and excellent packability, it’s the perfect choice for long-distance treks and hiking.
