This winter sleeping pad is truly a fantastic piece of gear for frigid expeditions. Designed with an emphasis on low weight and maximum thermal comfort, this goose-down-filled inflatable sleeping pad is the ideal choice for winter camping and bivouacking in the snow. Thanks to 800 FP goose down with a Nikwax water-repellent treatment (as is standard with Rabu), it provides excellent insulation even in the coldest conditions. The down-filled construction effectively minimizes heat loss and ensures optimal thermal performance while maintaining a low weight—just 610 g in the Regular size.

And how does it work? The down is loosely packed into tubular chambers, so to ensure it fills the space perfectly, you need to shake it out a bit, just like with a sleeping bag. There is a small strip of porous foam near the valve that acts as a barrier between the chambers and the valve, so you don’t have to worry about the down escaping through the valve. At the same time, the foam acts as a barrier against moisture.

Exceptional insulation and comfort

With a thermal resistance rating of R-7.3, the mat provides sufficient insulation even for demanding winter expeditions. Raised side chambers help keep your body centered on the mat, while the 8 cm thickness and rectangular shape allow for comfortable sleep in various positions without compromising on comfort.

The lightweight 20D recycled polyester fabric with a TPU coating is durable enough while also allowing for easy packing into a compact size. The low-profile two-way valve ensures very easy and quick inflation and deflation. The package includes a well-designed inflation bag with taped seams (just like all Rab sleeping pads), which facilitates quick inflation without unwanted moisture. Of course, it comes with a carrying bag and a repair kit with a self-adhesive patch and a spare valve cap.
