The Sea To Summit Ultralight XR Insulated air mattress consists of 151 air-sprung cells Air Sprung Cells. These cells adapt perfectly to the shape of the body, reduce pressure points, and increase stability. At the same time, they evenly distribute the sleeper’s weight, which side sleepers will certainly appreciate.
Sea To Summit Ultralight XR
It replaces the popular Sea To Summit Ultralight Insulated Mat. Like its predecessor, it is a compact, ultralight three-season sleeping pad with a sufficient thickness of 6.5 cm. We offer it in three sizes to suit all body types.
Its weight of 415 g in the Regular size is also very appealing. The mat is 55 cm wide at the shoulders (size L is even 64 cm), which is slightly above average.
Insulation
Thermal insulation is provided by ThermalCore. It reflects body heat back to the user and increases the R-value without significantly increasing the volume. The sleeping pad achieves a thermal resistance of R = 3.6 and is ideal for use from spring to fall.
Material
The main material is a hybrid of 30/40D nylon and TPU laminate with Ultrafresh treatment. A proven material that offers an ideal balance of weight, packability, and durability. As an ultralight piece, the Ultralight XR Insulated can handle even harsher conditions.
We recommend placing Tyvek under every inflatable sleeping pad, as it significantly reduces the risk of punctures.
Simple valve XPRESS
The Ultralight XR Insulated is equipped with an ingeniously simple and practical “valve” with a flap to prevent air from escaping between breaths, and most importantly, it can be deflated almost instantly by opening the second stage of the valve! This makes it quick and easy to inflate and pack up.
Inflating is even more convenient with the new version, as the package now includes an Airstream inflation bag, which easily prevents moist air from entering the mat. The inflation bag can also be used as a storage bag for the packed mat. Simple and smart.
Each mat now comes with anti-slip patches that perfectly hold your pillow in place.
