    Ultra-Sil ultra-light pouches, made from Cordura® Ultra-Sil® 30D fabric, are designed to protect various items of gear from moisture and wet conditions. They feature taped seams and a waterproof roll-top closure. Prolonged rain or falling into water while fording on a trek will not be a problem.

    The 35-liter models are new and currently available only in Blue Atoll and Tarragon Green.

    Staying dry is the most important—and often the most difficult—task during long-term outdoor activities. It’s not just about the clothes you wear, but mainly about the essential warm layers in your backpack—such as a down sleeping bag and jacket, spare clothing, and gear.

    To help you organize your backpack better, these pouches come in several color options. Plus, the material is partially see-through, so you can easily see what’s where. They weigh just a few grams, and when you don’t need them, you can roll them up to a negligible size. That’s one of the reasons they kept us company for a full 5 months on CDT  – through over 200 river crossings on the Gila River in New Mexico, a few falls into icy rivers swollen with melting snow in Colorado, and finally, long weeks of rain in Montana. They even came in handy for hanging food in trees to keep it safe from bears… those few extra grams in the form of three small bags were well worth it.
