The Rab Xenair Light Insulated Jacket for men is a new, technically advanced piece that uses proven materials and offers a number of advantages over down insulation. It is a lightweight version of the Xenair Insulated Jacket. The foundation of the entire jacket is PrimaLoft® Gold Active+ insulation, which is made from 55% recycled materials. Rab has cleverly zoned this insulation to better support thermoregulation during high-intensity activities. An undeniable advantage over down insulation is its easier maintenance and moisture resistance.

The outer material is the proven 20D Pertex Quantum Air with a high-quality DWR finish. Thanks to its open-weave structure, it offers an excellent balance between wind resistance and very high breathability, which you’ll especially appreciate during high-intensity activity, as it keeps you dry and comfortable for much longer. At the same time, it can handle light rain or snow (it is not waterproof!). Under the arms and on the sides, where the body generates more heat, only Pertex Quantum Air without insulation is used, so that excess heat can escape as easily as possible. The articulated cut of the entire jacket is designed to restrict movement as little as possible during active use. The cuffs feature an elastic gusset with a thumb hole, which you’ll appreciate when wearing gloves. The bottom hem of the jacket can be easily adjusted using the integrated drawcord. The two "hidden" hand pockets with YKK zippers are a nice touch. Of course, there is also a main YKK® VISLON® zipper finished with a chin guard. Inside the jacket, you’ll also find another zippered pocket into which the entire jacket can be easily packed.
