The Rab Venant Pants are primarily designed as climbing pants. However, like other pants in this category, they are very often used as versatile, casual pants. That’s because they are exceptionally comfortable.

The Matrix™ stretch fabric (151 g/m²), combined with a gusseted crotch and an anatomically precise cut, does not restrict movement in any way and is highly breathable and quick-drying. Every user will appreciate this, whether they are tackling a rock overhang or on a Saturday family outing. Thanks to their understated look, they’re also perfect as everyday pants. A water-repellent DWR finish protects against light rain without fluorocarbons.

For pants primarily designed for climbing, they also offer very solid storage capacity—two large front pockets, two large back pockets, and one hidden zippered thigh pocket are sufficient for all daily essentials. At the same time, however, they do not get in the way or cause pressure when wearing a harness, and the thigh pocket remains easily accessible even when wearing one. Another climbing-friendly feature is the cleverly angled seam at the bottom of the leg. This is designed to prevent the seam from being unnecessarily damaged by the inside of the pant leg when cleaning your climbing shoes before a climb. Once again, it has been confirmed that Rabácké's motto "Mountain people" is not just an empty phrase, and the guys and girls at Rab are active athletes who incorporate their experiences into their products.

For bouldering enthusiasts, the pants feature a small pocket with a loop for a chalk bag, so you can always keep it with you. The entire pair is stitched with contrasting "chain" seams.
