The Japanese company Evernew Inc. has been manufacturing its titanium cookware for over 20 years. Titanium is a top-quality material with irreplaceable properties for outdoor gear. The titanium alloys used are lightweight (with a specific gravity nearly half that of steel), stronger than stainless steel, and highly chemically stable and corrosion-resistant. The Ultra Light series is specially designed for fans of ultralight gear. The pot is made from thin titanium sheet metal just 0.3 mm thick, yet it does not compromise on durability.

In addition to the unrivaled Ti-Ultralight series for true fans of ultralight gear, Evernew offers the Non-Stick cookware series with a Si-based ceramic non-stick coating for greater cooking comfort. This coating contains no harmful substances like Teflon coatings, remains stable even at much higher temperatures, and—most importantly—won’t scratch during normal use!

You can use an anodized duralumin spoon for both cooking and eating, and thanks to the non-stick surface, you can easily wash the cookware after a meal or simply wipe it dry if you’re camping without access to water. This saves time and water—you don’t need a sponge or any cleaning chemicals. However, to ensure the longest possible lifespan of the non-stick coating, we recommend using a plastic or wooden spoon

A potential drawback for some is that, due to titanium’s lower thermal conductivity, it’s not advisable to cook on gas stoves with a narrow flame spread when using full power—this can cause the bottom of the pot to warp. I cook on a alcohol stove and occasionally on a gas Optimus (I’ve even cooked over a campfire a few times), and the bottom is still perfectly flat. It’s simply a matter of approach. A weight savings of up to 200g compared to classic pots is well worth a little extra care.

Important notice!

• Do not overheat the product, otherwise the food will burn through the thin metal wall. Titanium cookware is designed to cook efficiently at low heat settings.
• Never heat an empty pot! This would cause discoloration, deterioration, and peeling of the functional non-stick coating. Avoid heating dry foods or melting snow without adding water—this will cause the same damage as heating an empty pot.
• When frying, first add fat and food to the pan, and only then place the pan on the heat source.
