The Peak Design Ultralight Packing Cube is part of a family of excellent and highly practical pouches designed in a minimalist spirit. These pouches are perfect for everyday city life, nature outings, or as a handy addition to your outdoor gear for even the longest adventures.
Lightweight and Water-Resistant
The cubes are made from waterproof, fully recycled 40D Terra Shell™ material with taped seams. They also feature water-resistant UltraZips™. However, due to the zippers, they are not completely waterproof.
Minimalism thought out down to the last detail
All variants are designed in a minimalist spirit, yet they also feature several details that are brilliantly and practically designed. The case has one main zippered compartment that holds everything you need. On the sides of the case are sewn-on external Cord Hook™ loops onto which you can quickly and easily snap the Peak Design Flathook Strap (sold separately) or any other strap from Peak Design. Instantly, you have a practical waist pack. Once the case is empty, simply roll it up and secure it with the elastic strap on the zipper. Packed this way, the case takes up almost no space and you can slip it into your pants pocket, for example.
Personal Experience
When I first got my hands on the Ultralight Packing Cubes, I immediately fell in love with them. They’re lightweight and incredibly practical. I started using them mainly for short trips when I don’t want to carry anything with me except my phone, keys, wallet, or maybe a camera. Otherwise, I’d have to carry a small, half-empty backpack, but this way I only have a small pouch with me, which I wear as a fanny pack using the Flathook strap. The Ultralight Packing Cube also works great as a practical pouch for organizing smaller items inside larger luggage.
