Great things in a small package

The Grit 28 is the ideal choice for adventurers looking for maximum functionality in a minimalist design. Compared to the Fast Kumo model, it has a smaller capacity but features the popular roll-top lid, which allows you to easily adjust the backpack’s size to suit your current needs.

The entire backpack is made from durable, recycled 100D Robic Nylon, which also features a water-resistant PU coating. The back panel features standard foam padding, which is also found in other Gossamer Gear models. It can be easily removed and used, for example, as a seat pad.

Running-style

It’s clear at first glance that the Grit is based on a running design. The shoulder straps are shaped like a running vest and feature practical mesh pockets—ideal for water bottles, energy bars, or a phone.

Stability during dynamic movement is ensured by the three-point attachment of the shoulder straps and two height-adjustable chest straps. If you need even better stability, the backpack can be supplemented with the Fast Belt, for which loops are provided at the bottom of the backpack.

External pockets

For items you want to keep close at hand, there is a large mesh pocket on the front of the backpack—great for waterproof clothing, a snack, or other gear. Two side mesh pockets provide additional storage, ideal for water bottles or small items. There is also a very practical zippered pocket under the lid, perfect for valuables and the like.

Minimalism with smart details

The Grit 28 maintains a clean, minimalist style, evident in features such as the simple compression straps and the practical roll-top closure. The backpack also features several loops for attaching additional compression cords or gear, and of course, it includes a system for securing trekking poles or an ice axe.
