The Rab Khroma Cirque men's waterproof jacket is ski mountaineering jacket designed primarily as a main outer layer for both ascents and descents, offering maximum comfort in both situations. This was exactly the idea that originated at Rab, and the result of their work is this fantastic piece.. From a versatile ski mountaineering jacket like this, we primarily expect excellent breathability, water and wind resistance, and a reasonable weight—but not at the expense of the jacket’s durability. Rabu chose the top-of-the-line three-layer GORE-TEX Active 30D as the main material, which, with a water column and breathability rating of 28,000 mm / Ret<4, easily meets all these requirements. GORE-TEX Active utilizes GORE® C-KNIT™ technology, allowing for a thinner inner layer than standard three-layer laminates.

Rab Khroma Cirque

It features a three-way, fully adjustable hood designed to fit over a helmet and a collar that perfectly protects the neck. Two large zippered underarm vents aid in thermoregulation during strenuous climbs when you need to vent excess heat, while also providing access to your base/mid layer. Two large Napoleon pockets provide ample storage capacity for all the essentials you need to carry. The central, two-way YKK® AquaGuard® Vislon zipper, covered by a flap, allows for easy belaying with a harness in more technical sections where you need to pull the rope. You can easily and comfortably tighten or loosen the bottom hem of the jacket thanks to an internal snap closure that’s easy to operate even while wearing ski gloves. All zippers on the jacket are YKK.
