Ventilated back panel: The backpack features the Air Contour™ back panel, which adapts very well to the contours of the body and distributes the weight of the backpack excellently. The back length of the backpack is 46 cm in size S and 48 cm in size M, which are average back lengths that will fit most body types. The construction is covered with a lightweight mesh that is cleverly offset from the reinforcement to ensure the best possible ventilation.

Shoulder straps like a running vest: The backpack’s shoulder straps feature a rather unique design. They are based on the construction of running vests. The straps are made of double-layer 3D mesh, which again offers perfect comfort and breathability. The right strap features a deep, mesh pocket primarily designed to hold a soft flask. This ensures you always have water on hand while on the move. The left strap has a spacious zippered pocket that can hold most smartphones or items like energy bars, gels, etc.

Great pockets

Spacious mesh pockets are located on the sides of the backpack; they are angled so you can easily reach into them even while walking. They seamlessly connect to the zippered pockets on the backpack’s hip belt. The backpack also features a spacious front mesh pocket that can hold a variety of items you need to keep close at hand—a waterproof jacket, a sweatshirt, a snack, etc. On the backpack lid, there is another zippered pocket, which is ideal for storing valuables. Inside the pocket, there is also a small carabiner for attaching keys. The backpack has a standard zippered opening to the main compartment, and inside the back of the backpack, there is a pocket for storing a hydration bladder up to 3L, and of course, there is also an outlet for the tube.

Stays put like a rock

The backpack’s fit on the back is very cleverly designed and provides excellent stability even during really active running. The two height-adjustable chest straps and the shoulder strap adjustments, ingeniously connected to the hip belt, work very well. For better stability, the backpack also features important balance straps.

Practical Details

The design also includes a system for attaching trekking/running poles. This is achieved through a system of two adjustable straps, allowing you to easily secure the poles even while walking. This way, you don’t have to waste time stopping and taking off your backpack. 

Material 

The Rab Nitron 25L is made from durable 70D x 140D nylon, which also features a Trishield coating with a 1500 mm water column. This material is 50% recycled. This reaffirms the goal Rab set for itself in 2020: to become a climate-neutral company by 2030.
