The iconic American brand Granite Gear has been producing perfect backpacks for multi-day treks for years. This time, however, it has turned its attention to smaller backpacks and poured its wealth of experience into the new Dagger 22 model.

Comfortable back system

The backpack is built around Granite Gear’s signature, well-padded back system. Inside is a plastic panel that can be easily removed, and thanks to the thick back padding, the backpack retains its shape well and sits comfortably on your back.

Lightweight yet durable material

The backpack is made from lightweight and durable 100D and 210D Robic Nylon materials, which offer good water resistance (the backpack is not completely waterproof).

Well-designed straps and stability

The padded shoulder straps are wide enough and comfortable even during extended wear. A balance and height-adjustable chest strap provides better stability. A minimalist hip belt helps distribute the weight more effectively to the hips. The backpack’s maximum load capacity is 11.3 kg.

Convenient pockets and details

The backpack features a zippered main compartment, complemented by a number of elastic exterior pockets. The large front mesh pocket is ideal for storing waterproof items or other gear you want to keep close at hand. A compression cord runs across the pocket, which you can also use to dry wet items.

Two side mesh pockets are deep enough for 1.5-liter bottles and, thanks to their angled design, easily accessible even while walking. Inside the backpack is a pocket for a hydration bladder with an opening for the tube. A smaller zippered pocket in the backpack lid is designed for valuables such as a wallet and keys.

Adaptable and versatile design

The backpack can be cinched down using four side compression straps, which makes packing easier. Trekking poles can be attached using loops or side pockets, where they can be secured with compression straps.
